Can you use a regular whisk for matcha?

How to whisk matcha?
- Place the whisk in hot water for a few seconds to loosen the strings to soften the bamboo each time before using the whisk.
- Put 1 teaspoon of matcha (1g) in the matcha bowl
- Pour warm water (80 degrees) into the bowl
- Whisk the powder in a W-motion (or M-motion) for 20 seconds, enjoy!
Pro tip: don’t scrape the whisk across the bottom of the bowl.
Care
After each use, rinse with cold water and let it dry on the whisk holder. Make sure to never put your whisk in the dishwasher or use soap to clean it, as it can extremely damage the bamboo whisk.
